From the former prime minister of New Zealand, then the world’s youngest female head of government and just the second to give birth in office, comes a deeply personal memoir chronicling her extraordinary rise and offering inspiration to a new generation of leaders.
The Right Honourable Dame Jacinda Ardern was elected the 40th Prime Minister of New Zealand at the age of thirty-seven, becoming the country’s youngest Prime Minister in more than 150 years. Since leaving office, Ardern has established the Field Fellowship on empathetic leadership. She is a Senior Fellow at Harvard University, continues to work on climate action, and is the Patron of the Christchurch Call to Action to eliminate terrorist and violent extremist content online. Ardern also works on a number of projects that support women and girls, but considers her greatest roles to be those she will hold for life, including that of mum and proud New Zealander.
What if we could redefine leadership? What if kindness came first? Jacinda Ardern grew up the daughter of a police officer in small-town New Zealand, but as the 40th Prime Minister of her country, she commanded global respect for her empathetic leadership that put people first. This is the remarkable story of how a Mormon girl plagued by self-doubt made political history and changed our assumptions of what a global leader can be.
When Jacinda Ardern became Prime Minister at age thirty-seven, the world took notice. But it was her compassionate yet powerful response to the 2019 Christchurch mosque attacks, resulting in swift and sweeping gun control laws, that demonstrated her remarkable leadership. She guided her country through unprecedented challenges—a volcanic eruption, a major biosecurity breach, and a global pandemic—while advancing visionary new policies to address climate change, reduce child poverty, and secure historic international trade deals. She did all this while juggling first-time motherhood in the public eye.
Ardern exemplifies a new kind of leadership—proving that leaders can be caring, empathetic, and effective. She has become a global icon, and now she is ready to share her story, from the struggles to the surprises, including for the first time the full details of her decision to step down during her sixth year as Prime Minister.
Through her personal experiences and reflections, Jacinda is a model for anyone who has ever doubted themselves, or has aspired to lead with compassion, conviction, and courage. A Different Kind of Power is more than a political memoir; it’s an insight into how it feelsto lead, ultimately asking: What if you, too, are capable of more than you ever imagined?

Theater Kidis a coming-of-age tale from Jeffrey Seller one of the most successful theatrical producers of our time-- the only producer to have mounted two Pulitzer Prize–winning musicals—Hamilton and Rent.
Jeffrey Seller produced the Tony Award–winning musicals Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights, and Hamilton. His shows have won twenty-two Tony Awards, including four for Best Musical, and his Broadway productions and tours have grossed over $4.6 billion and reached more than 43 million attendees. Jeffrey is the only producer to have mounted two Pulitzer Prize–winning musicals—Hamilton and Rent. He also revolutionized theater accessibility with the $20 ticket lottery for Rent, making theater affordable for all.
Singer, songwriter, actor, and philanthropist Josh Groban possesses one of the most outstanding and instantly recognizable voices in music. He has sold over 35 million albums worldwide, headlined legendary venues on multiple continents, and has also entertained audiences with acclaimed film and television appearances. A Tony, Emmy, and five-time Grammy nominee, he has packed arenas around the world and made his Broadway debut in 2016. This spring, he’ll release a career-spanning collection of songs and play The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in an exclusive run. His Find Your Light Foundation helps enrich the lives of young people through arts, education and cultural awareness.
“In this searing and inspiring memoir, Jeffrey Seller writes the book he wishes he’d had as a kid; about a wildly brilliant, closeted young man from tough circumstances in Detroit who finds his way into the wilds of New York and helps develop and support some of the most innovative musical theater of the twentieth and twenty-first century. It belongs on your shelf next to Act One by Moss Hart—if you can manage to put it down; I certainly couldn’t.”—Lin-Manuel Miranda
Before he was producing the musical hits of our generation, Jeffrey was just a kid coming to terms with his adoption, trying to understand his sexuality, and determined to escape his dysfunctional household in a poor neighborhood just outside Detroit. Musical theater and a move to New York allowed him to find his voice and make his way on Broadway.
In this memoir, he pulls back the curtain on the joyous and gut-wrenching process of making new musicals, finding new audiences, and winning a Tony Award—all the while finding himself. Theater Kid is a gripping memoir about fighting through a hardscrabble childhood to make art on one’s own terms, chasing a dream against many odds, and finding acceptance and community.

Candace Parker, one of the most decorated and celebrated women’s basketball players of all time, reveals her own deeply inspiring journey and teaches readers how to live bravely, unapologetically, and with purpose.
Candace Parker is one of the most influential athletes of this generation. After being selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks, following a champion career at Tennessee, Parker went on to become the first player to earn WNBA MVP and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season, win three WNBA championship titles, and take home two Olympic gold medals. Off the court, first and foremost, she is a wife and a mother of three children and three dogs. Since retiring, she serves as a public speaker, activist, entrepreneur, and studio broadcaster for men’s and women’s basketball.
Born in Riverside and a lifelong California resident, Cheryl Miller is a basketball legend. In high school, she became the first athlete, male or female, to make the Parade All-American high school team for four straight years. After leading the Trojans to the NCAA title in 1983 and 1984, she holds USC records for points, rebounds, field goals, free throws, steals and games played. An Olympic gold medalist, head coach and sportscaster, she’s one of the top five women’s collegiate basketball players in NCAA history. Among her many honors, she most recently received the 2025 National Civil Rights Museum Sports Legacy award.
“Confidence, grit, determination . . . Candace Parker has it all and now she’s sharing the secrets to her success. I’ve had a front row seat to watching her CAN-DO Mindset in action and I’m excited for other folks to have the opportunity to hear it from her firsthand.” —Shaquille O’Neal.
Candace’s story is even more inspiring off the court. A proud wife and mother of three whose love story resonated with the LGBTQ+ community around the world, Candace paved the way for the WNBA’s rise in American culture, and for female basketballers to have the impact and platform that used to be reserved for the NBA..Candace’s success didn’t happen by accident. From the start, she turned her childhood nickname, Can-Do, into a daily mantra that helped her overcome enormous physical and mental hurdles while embracing her vulnerability. Now in her first book, THE CAN-DO MINDSET, Candace breaks down the ultimate recipe for success, drawn from the experiences that made her a better person and player.
