May 11, 2025 (UTC+0)
Grantham
Cri du Canard are a French folk trio. Door open from 6.40 pm Sunday 11th May 2025 for this brilliant band. We serve tea/coffee/squash with biscuits included in entrance and have homemade cake for £2 per slice. Bring a cushion for five star comfort! With passion and experience coming out of their ears, these three highly regarded musicians throw themselves into their work, performing and leading workshops across the UK and EU with expertise, humour, and panache. After properly establishing this band in 2021 - following a glorious summer's evening of music, dance, and food - Grace, Sam, and Dave warmly invite you to share in the joy of French and Breton music, dance the night away to these infectious, energy-infused grooves, or simply sit back and enjoy the hypnotic interplay of fiddle, flute and box. Expect to be transported to the beating musical heart of France, with an experience as nourishing for the soul as a good bowl of bourguignon. Pied gauche, à temps - Allez!

Road Safety Whether you arrive solo or you come with a mate, we’re teaming up this year with the @roadsafetycommission_wa to help make sure every WOW Festival wanderer gets there safely. 🚗 Here are some handy tips to help make your trip to and from the festival safer: ⚠️ Speeding is never safe. Speed increases the risk of having a crash, as well as the severity of the crash. ⚠️ The faster you go, the longer it takes to stop. A typical stopping distance when travelling at 30km/h on a reasonable road surface is 19 metres. At 40km/h, the stopping distance increases to 27 metres. ⚠️ If a car hits a pedestrian at 50km/h, the impact is twice as likely to cause death than if the car had been travelling at 40km/h. Fine Print Please note that photographs and videos may be taken of the event for promotional purposes only (including social media). In accordance with hygiene requirements, hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use, too, in order to help ensure the safety of staff, artists and guests. If required, COVID restrictions and/or adjustments may be made, in accordance with current health requirements. Please note: We do not offer refunds, and no pro-rata rate is available due to sheet music costs incurred by each participant. See You Soon! We cannot wait to see you at this class! In the meantime, check out our socials - Facebook and Instagram - for updates and to check out what else is in the pipeline!
