The Homebuyer Education Class is a 6-hour fun and interactive class covering topics on:
Preparing for homeownership
Fair Housing
Advantages and disadvantages of homeownership
Shopping for a home
Low-cost ways to get into homeownership
The process for applying for a mortgage
Prepurchase and closing processes
And more!
This two part class is held in person on Tuesday, April 29 from 6pm-9pm, and the second part of the class is Thursday, May 1 from 6pm-9pm.
It is required that you and anyone else on the future loan attend the full 6-hour class, which entitles you to a MSHDA, HUD, or other program certification, that is valid for one year. Certificates will be granted directly to you to pass onto a lender or program staff. We will keep records of your attendance as verification.
In addition to the registration via Eventbrite, the intake packet must be filled out and it will be linked in the confirmation email upon registration.
Registration
$20 for the first registrant, $5 for additional registrants in the same household. The $5 fee is not for friends, only additional members of a household; Friends must pay $20 as another independent registrant.
The class closes 48 hours before the first session and/or when at capacity. No day-of registrations; class participants must be registered for the class.
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Fees may be waived for those with proof of hardship.
Please do not bring children to in-person classes. ICCF is unable to provide childcare. If this is a barrier, please register for a Zoom class or the self-paced class (Framework).
Cancelation Policy, Late Arrivals, and No Shows
Once registered, the participant is holding a spot, therefore reservations for this event are nonrefundable.
Class participants who are more than 20 minutes late OR miss one part of a two part class will need to reschedule for the next available class and pay the full fees.

. This biennial concert series honors Andy Larson, our former GRCMB Head Chorister who tragically lost his life in a car accident in the summer of 2018. Andy always dreamed of one day singing with the Choir of St. John's. This would have thrilled him!. . The Choir of St John’s College, Cambridge, is one of the finest collegiate choirs in the world – known and loved by millions from its broadcasts, concert tours, and over 100 recordings. Founded in the 1670s, the Choir is renowned for its rich, warm, and distinctive sound, expressive interpretations, and ability to sing in a variety of styles. St John’s College, Cambridge, was founded in 1511 and is one of the largest colleges in the University of Cambridge. Alongside its reputation for excellence, the Choir prides itself on its happy, relaxed, and mutually supportive atmosphere. . Christopher Gray has directed the Choir since April 2023. We will be working on developing good habits on initial shots, puckhandling skills, and overall conditioning and speed with our power skating. We are over the moon to have Maria & Philip, LEGO® Masters Season 2 contestants, teaching a workshop in time for Super Hero Day.
Join us for an action-packed afternoon of creativity and construction. Maria and Philip will be teaching how to brickbuild midiscale figs and customize them as unique super heroes.
All materials provided, and you take home your Super Hero build!
This workshop is for ages 12+. Builders under the age of 18 will be required to have an event waiver completed by a parent or guardian ahead of the event unless accompanied by a ticketed builder over 18.
Tickets are $15 for builders ages 12-17, and $20 for builders age 17+.

This city might be named after a rushing river but you can take your time floating through the city center as you complete different challenges at each bar. Work with friends or individually to see who can rack up the most points by completing photo and video challenges at each stop.
Whether you're new in town or a Grand Rapids native, you're sure to have a good time on this grand bar crawl, it's a night out like no other.
