The Waterford Viking Marathon will be held in Waterford, Ireland. The full, half, quarter and relay marathon events will all start simultaneously in the heart of this historic Viking city. Runners will then cross two famous bridges, the city's Rice Bridge and Ireland's longest suspension bridge, the iconic Thomas Francis Meagher Bridge, before running along the spectacular Waterford Greenway and the stunning Congreve Hill Gardens. Musicians and DJs will also entertain runners along the way! It's another fantastic day for Waterford and all who visit.

Bad Mothers Union Bad Mothers Union was established in Kilkenny in 2003. They released their debut single, ‘Fun For Five Year Olds’ three years later. In 2008, US subprime mortgage delinquency rates exceeded 21%, causing mortgage-backed securities tied to real estate to plummet in their value. On September 15, Lehman-Brothers declared bankruptcy. Bad Mothers Union dissolved that same year. In 2023, they reformed. Bad Mothers Union currently has a bassist retention rate of 40%. The Spudguns The Spudguns are a five-piece band from small towns and built-up areas in Ireland. They play for yourselves, for themselves, and for everybody else. The band is made up of Thomas Wakely, Adam Burke, Kalebh Grocock and, brothers Eoin and Kealan Power. Porcelain Eyes Porcelain Eyes formed in early 2024, from the ashes of Watergord acts Collides, Ghost Robots and Anna-Liese. Waterford LGFA - U17 - PDP - 2025! Players Born 2008 & 2009 This summer Waterford Ladies Gaelic Football Association are running an U17 player development programme. It will involve 5 training sessions and a blitz day where girls will don a unique Waterford Jersey and represent their county playing against other counties on the National and/or Regional Blitz day. Training dates are 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th of June, 4th of July. The Intercounty blitz day will take place on the 8th of July. The venue will be at a GAA grounds mid-county - TBC This programme is open to all players of all abilities. Every player gets a free jersey for taking part.
