This is the fifth cybersecurity specific Brazilian Jiu Jitsu event that we have held and first of 2025, we are really excited to be returning to the mats at Roger Gracie Academy Marlow, in Buckinghamshire. This is a great opportunity to get on the mats and use the medium of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to network and meet new people and also to share some of the wisdom of martial arts and how it transcends into our lives and work. Our group will be made up of a mixture of people from the cybersecurity industry. There will be SOC managers, CISO's, Head's of Security and IT directors. From a BJJ perspective, there will be every belt level and ability. The structure of this event will involve a traditional class taught by a black belt, an opportunity to practice the techniques with a variety of partners, sparring rounds and of course plenty of time to meet and interact with each other. We are meeting at Roger Gracie Academy in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. This session will be run by Nick Tiscoe, a second -degree black belt under Kev Capel (RGA Lineage)and head coach and owner of North Shore BJJ in Newquay, Cornwall. As well as experience in cybersecurity recruitment and sales, Nick is a former competitive surfer and has trained and competed in BJJ both nationally and internationally at every belt level.
