He has recently started collaborating with Katie, a textile artist, creating mixed media collages using textiles and scrap metal. Katie Ošlapas, (she/her) has a background in industrial design, and had a brief career in designing appliances and industrial products. Though the field served her well, her true interest and passion lies in the textile arts. Since retiring from industrial product design Katie has focused on quilting, knitting, dress making, and textile art. Her most recent project is an ongoing collaboration with her husband, Arūnas Ošlapas, where she integrates his left over scrap metal pieces and other found objects into her textile art works. *By registering for this event, you have opted into receiving our email newsletters.
