How much does it cost to attend? One day registration starts from only £115 for ASE teacher-members and even less for trainees-members and technician-members. Unfortunately children are not permitted to attend other events throughout Conference. When will I receive my ticket/delegate badge? All delegate badges will be provided daily at the registration desks at Conference, within Pope Building in Room A15. Please ensure you provide evidence of your Eventbrite booking with your order number at registration. Registration will open at 08:00 on each day. What's the refund policy? Cancellation of registration before 26th November 2025 will incur a 5% cancellation charge (30 working days before the event). After this date no refunds can be made. Location: Nottingham Mechanics Institute This course is for workers and volunteers from all sectors who want to understand the links between domestic abuse and suicide in order to improve responses to survivors with who suicide is a concern. Learning outcomes • Raise awareness of the links between domestic abuse and suicide and self-harm. • Explore case studies to inform understanding and increase the effectiveness of responses. • Identify how self-harm and attempted suicide can be an indicator of domestic abuse. • Reference local and national homicide reviews where suicide has been a factor. Prerequisites None. Please note that we encourage all professionals to attend our flagship session, Understanding and Responding to Domestic Violence and Abuse (INTRO) Funded by Nottingham Crime and Drugs Partnership Please bear in mind that this training does include reference to types of domestic abuse, if you are watching or taking part in this training in a shared building, if possible, please do so in a space that is not accessed by other people for the duration of the training. It is possible that any training about domestic abuse has the potential to impact on each of us personally, please be aware that this may be the case before accessing the training. Cost Please be aware: due to the conditions of our funding, this training is free to people working in Nottingham City and County – chargeable outside of these areas.
