Join the 2-hour long Handstand Workshop Fleet, designed for complete beginners and experienced practitioners looking to enhance their handstand skills. This workshop welcomes participants at both beginner and intermediate levels. Whether you're new to handstands or can hold one for a few seconds away from the wall, this workshop is perfect for you. Led by professional hand balancers, you'll learn balancing techniques and drills to apply to your own practice. Additionally, this workshop offers benefits such as building upper body strength, improving flexibility and mobility, preventing and recovering from handstand-related injuries, and overcoming the fear of falling. Participants from various backgrounds, including yoga, pole dance, gymnastics, calisthenics, crossfit, climbing, circus, acro yoga, and fitness enthusiasts, have attended these workshops in the past. The workshop is divided into two parts, covering warm-up drills, handstand alignment technique, balance strategies, kicking up into a handstand against the wall, and other handstand drills. Depending on the facility and level of participants, the workshop may also cover cartwheels, stretching and mobility for handstands, and conditioning exercises. By the end of the workshop, you'll gain confidence, improve consistency, prevent injuries, increase mobility and flexibility, and have fun while learning something new. Note that this workshop is for adults only, with exceptions made for certain teenagers with athletic or gymnastics backgrounds.
