We are proud to host a night celebrating our Cardiff School of Rocks Community and the women that made it happen. El founded SoR in Bristol and Jes Franchised it and madeit happen in Cardiff. Without El's Microambitious blue print Cardiff school of Rocks would never have happened. Her idea has given rise to multiple SoR communities across the globe. She is also a exceptional bike rider - having just spent a year cycling round South America, she most indefinitely has some fantastic stories to tell. Jess founded our local Cardiff School of Rocks with encouragement from El, she gained a new confidence from this, and has built upon the template that El gave her to make a thriving women led community. This has given her all sorts of opportunities, such as ultra cycling racing. Event Information We are delighted to be the headline charity for this year's Windsor Women 10K, for the second year in a row! This is a women's only, family friendly event taking place in one of the most beautiful parks in the UK. Along the course you will pass the Royal Lodge which was the Queen Mother’s residence and is now home to Prince Andrew, the Royal School and then at around 5.5 km you will pass the Statue of Queen Elizabeth II erected in celebration of her Golden Jubilee. It is then almost all downhill to the finish as you sweep onto the top of the Long Walk with Windsor Castle as the back drop.
