A day to raise money for pediatric cancer research & families impacted by childhood cancer. Northwestern Mutual - Columbus is hosting "Scramble for a Cure" - a charity golf scramble event. This annual event, now in its 7th year, is dedicated to supporting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research (ALSF) and Nellie's Champions for Kids (NC4K). Both of these foundations provide crucial support for pediatric cancer research and offer assistance to families affected by this challenging disease. A supportive group for Neurodivergent women, share experiences and access peer support. Led by a female Neurodivergent Psychotherapist. Although some Neurodivergent women do take care of their emotional wellbeing and seek help if and when they need it, others face a range of barriers when doing so which can make them reluctant to reach out. Negative past experiences when working with professionals can also have a huge impact on whether someone chooses to reach out, alongside a distinct lack of provision specifically for Neurodivergent people, especially those who have been late diagnosed or waiting for a diagnosis. The Hosts My:ND Space CIC is a supportive peer led space, specifically for the Neurodivergent community. We feel that this is especially important to be able to fully empathise, truly understand, and to be able to offer the right kind of support . The Session It's important to note that this session IS NOT COUNSELLING OR THERAPY of any kind. In this session there is no 'activity' as such, but simply a space for Neurodivergent women to come together, chat, have access to peer support and talk about whatever it is they want to chat about, in a safe, judegement free space. The group will be facilitated by a Female Neurodivergent Psychotherpaist who specialises in women's wellbeing and Neuro-affirming education. You do not need a formal diagnosis to attend these sessions. The session will run from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Please arrive on time. Refreshments are provided for you to enjoy - donations towards these are always welcome. This is an adult group, however, we will allow girls aged 16 - 18 providing they are accompanied by a parent / carer / guardian - you do not need to book a space if you are accompanying a 16-18 year old. PLEASE NOTE - We ask for a £3 ticket contribution to help towards our operational costs as a not-for-profit organisation. Spaces for these sessions are limited. If you do book and can't make it for any reason please do let us know in advance so we can offer the space to someone else. There is a huge demand for this session and whilst we appreciate life does get in the way sometimes, we want to be able to use the time and space to provide support to people who need it . It is important again to stress that this IS NOT counselling or therapy. Our annual Bright Futures in Mental Health Luncheon aims to bring the mental health community together to celebrate Mental Health Month. This luncheon brings together the mental health workforce, students who are preparing for future careers in mental health, individuals with lived experience, mental health advocates, and community leaders. During this event, we will present scholarships to college students pursuing careers in the mental health field, unveil the 2026 Mental Health Action Guide resource, and welcome guest speaker CHFS Secretary Dr. Steven Stack.
