Newly restored in 4K to coincide with its 40th anniversary, the 1984 film was directed by renowned filmmaker Jonathan Demme and is considered by critics as the greatest concert film of all time. Starring band members David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison and Tina Weymouth (along with their incredible touring musicians), the live performance was shot at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater and features Talking Heads’ most memorable songs. COURSE OVERVIEW
Come explore how to program a CMM with LK Metrology’s CAMIO software in this 32-hour course. Whether you are a new employee to PW, new to the world of metrology and CMMs, or just looking for refresher on programming, this course will provide familiarity with fundamentals of programming a CMM to create an inspection program. The goals of this class are to provide the student with basic information on metrology and inspection as needed to create an inspection program on a CMM. All areas of programming are covered, including: probe calibration, alignments, measurement, tolerancing and reporting. Throughout the class, the students will gain confidence in the programming of the CMM and will gain the knowledge to be able to tackle a basic programming/inspection task with confidence. All labs and/or exercises will be completed offline using the CAMIO software.

Langdyke Colours - Eco-Printing on Paper - Experimental Workshop | Swaddywell Pit Nature Reserve
This is an experimental Eco-printing On Paper workshop, led by Sarah Lambert and Kathryn Parsons, who are Artists in Residence with Langdyke Countryside Trust. For more than three years, Sarah and Kathryn have been using natural dyeing and eco-printing to record seasonal changes on Langdyke's nature reserves. Join them for a gentle, fun and explorative day learning simple eco-printing techniques to transfer colour from plants on to paper! Using foraged leaves and wildflowers you'll make your own eco-printed mini zig-zag books, and a collection of single sheets too. The workshop will start at Swaddywell Nature Reserve, near Helpston, Cambridgeshire. We’ll go for a gentle walk to forage for leaves and flowers, led by Sarah who is a botanist and ecologist. If mobility is an issue you can choose to miss out this part of the workshop. We’ll then meet up again at the cabin on Torpel Manor Field Nature Reserve, about 3 miles away, for the rest of the workshop. The results are guaranteed to be unpredictable!… and that can be very beautiful. Not every colour created will last a long time, and not even every type of plant will give colour. So it will be a treasure-hunt for colours and a great way to explore nature, with a small group of like-minded others. If you're looking for a technical workshop with guaranteed results, this one is not for you! This workshop is aimed at adults. If you are considering bringing a child please get in touch so we can discuss whether it would be suitable for them. We’ll also show you how to add subtle layers of extra colour to eco-prints using water-colour pencils. And there will be a break for lunch and in the afternoon. Please bring: waterproof gloves (the thin type are good)tweezersa bag or box to take your damp eco-prints homeclothing and shoes suitable for walking round the nature reserve where there is uneven, possibly muddy ground. Lino Printing Workshop | Hazlehurst Studios
A small, friendly workshop where you can learn to cut designs in lino, use a printing press and produce your own unique prints. Great for cards and gifts ready for Xmas. We will also be covering how to produce reduction prints for those that want to attend future sessions in order to print more than one coloured layer. The workshop is for beginners or the more experienced. All materials provided. Just bring an apron.

Believe 208 5K Run for the Brave and Finest
, in Memory of East Hartford Police Officer Paul Buchanan, supports wellness initiatives for first responders through the Connecticut Alliance to Benefit Law Enforcement (CABLE). The Believe 208 mission is to increase awareness of the unique challenges facing first responders and to be a trusted, influential source for first responders, their families, agencies and community stakeholders. Proceeds from the race help to fund education and training efforts and provide resources to first responders and families in need.

Diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and dysgraphia, a reading comprehension learning disability, Jordan struggled in elementary school through high school missing countless days of school and never passing a test on his own.
