Join us at the Lando Jasso Memorial Workout, a special event held in honor of our friend, brother, son, and Leavenworth native, Lando. This year marks the 5th anniversary of remembering Lando, and we invite you to be a part of it. The workout is designed to pay tribute to every Ranger who lost their life in action, with Lando's workout specifically inspired by his incredible strength and dedication. He was known as the ultimate Ranger, running faster and carrying more than anyone else, but also loved a good 'ole arm day. The event will take place on November 25th, 2023, at CrossFit Covey in Wenatchee, WA. It will begin at 09:00 and continue until noon. We encourage you to reserve a spot for T-shirt orders and entry, as all proceeds will go towards supporting Rangers struggling with PTSD. Lando's workout consists of a 2-mile kit run, followed by 3 rounds of 50 EZ bar curls at 60 pounds, 50 skullcrushers at 60 pounds, and 3 rope climbs. The workout is challenging and meaningful, just like Lando. Sergeant Leandro Antonio Sleeper Jasso, a brave soldier from Leavenworth, WA, made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country in Afghanistan. Born on June 19, 1993, and raised in Washington, Lando was a talented athlete and musician. He played football and wrestled for the Kodiaks, and also had a passion for music, playing the guitar and writing songs. Lando enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating high school and became a Ranger in 2013. He served with honor and was promoted to Sergeant in 2016. He was currently serving with the 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment on his third deployment. Lando will always be remembered for his bravery, dedication, and love for his country.
