Idaho Laugh Fest Returns! Originally launched in 2014, Idaho Laugh Fest was the first comedy festival in Idaho and one of the largest in the entire northwest. It ran for four amazing years, hosting stand-up, improv, musical & sketch comedy, live podcast recordings, workshops, and more. At long last - we are coming back and cannot wait to showcase some of Idaho's finest comedians and celebrate the incredible local talent that is available here year round. As we kick off a new annual experience, we'll showcase mosly local folks and pepper in some of our favorite funny friends from out of state. Runners from all over the country will be in Rexburg, Idaho in June to participate in the Teton Dam Marathon & Races. The races include a marathon, half-marathon, relay, 10K and 5K. The Teton Dam Marathon & Races takes place every year around the anniversary of the breaking of the Teton Dam. On June 5, 1976, the collapse of the Teton River Dam unleashed a savage flood which caused $500 million in damage, took eleven lives, and made thousands homeless in Wilford, Sugar City, Rexburg, Salem, Hibbard, Firth, Blackfoot, and Roberts. This tragedy was turned into triumph by the victims’ own faith and courage and by an outpouring of aid by many volunteers from Idaho and nearby states. For this reason over a thousand runners flood the streets to take on their own personal challenge of running a race.An out-and-back race that takes runners on a commemorative tour of the site of the famous Teton Dam break, the Teton Dam Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay offers views of beautiful scenery, quaint towns and farmland and wide expanses of open spaces.

Join Kelsey Lensman on September 13th, 2023, in Boise, Idaho, for a thrilling 6-Mile Trail Hike as part of Mission48. This empowering event, Mission48, involves 48 competitions in 48 states over 48 days. The hike will take place at Hawkin's Reserve Loop, an idyllic venue located at 11199 N Bogus Basin Rd, Boise, ID 83702. This event offers a remarkable opportunity for all ages and fitness levels to participate in a challenging workout. The trail spans 5.8 miles with an elevation of 400-500ft. Rated as moderate on All Trails with a 4.6-star rating, this hike promises an exhilarating experience. For those seeking a less intense option, intermediate participants can perform a 3-mile out-and-back hike, while beginners can opt for a 2-mile out-and-back hike. Alternatively, you can join Denise, a member of the M48 road team, for a one-mile walk, or run/jog with Kelsey's Dad, Todd, to complete a mile in every state. This free event has limited capacity, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. The day will commence with warm-ups and an explanation of the hiking route at 8:30 am, with the hike starting at 9 am sharp. Mission48 aims to inspire girls and women to push beyond their comfort zones and build true self-confidence. Throughout the event, Kelsey will also raise awareness for ROX (Ruling Our Experiences), a phenomenal charity that supports young girls by teaching them about self-confidence, body image, and leadership skills.
