The session is designed to get you excited about the wonderful medium of watercolour, appreciate the mindfulness aspect of the practice and equip you with lots of valuable tips to help you with your future paintings. Fresh flowers and reference photos will be available on the day to draw inspiration from. The workshop will begin with analysing shapes of individual flowers in various stages from bud to fully open and we will take note of how the flowers are lit by ambient light. Anjana will then demonstrate how to capture these elements in watercolour, following which you will create your own version. You will need to bring your own paper, paints and brushes.
