At our 3.0 Battle for the Galentine's Crown tournament you'll play at the top of your game and feel confident and comfortable while having a great time. Who we are: PickleballChicks is an established “Chicks-Only” event host in the USA and Canada with 35+ sold out tournaments in the past year! We've welcomed over 1,000 Chicks onto our courts and we can't wait to welcome you! Our Vibe: At PicklebacllChicks we're all about amping up fun, friendly, wildly supportive and fair competition, which is why every player gets a minimum of 6 games. When you walk up to our registration desk, you’ll immediately feel the love. We create a welcoming, sassy vibe that helps melt away tournament anxiety. No one feels like running back to the car to cry at a PickleballChicks tournament. We’re all about the love of the game and respect and kindness toward our fellow players. We're also very competitive so come with your A game and be prepared to put all those hours of play into action in the Battle for the Crown! (PS Yes, tournaments can be uplifting, supportive and competitive; we're Chicks, we can multitask!). The best tournament value and fair format: At PickleballChicks we're all about giving you the most fun, the most well-matched games and the best chance to come home with the hardware : ) Format: Round Robin for 6 games. Points matter. Every game you play contributes to your total point count. Top 4 teams move to Championship Games for Gold, Silver, Bronze and Crowns! Simple Rally to 15 for round robin. Simple Rally to 15, win by 2 for Championship games. The Nitty Gritty: When: Friday February 14th, 1pm to 4pm (arrive by 12:35pm please) Where: Diadem Pickleball Complex, 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd. Coconut Creek, FL 33006 Skill Level: Intermediate --> 3.0 up to 3.5 (use your discretion, we look at DUPR and PickleballBrackets but know that sometimes ratings are inflated or just plain wrong) –> Note: ***** This is an intermediate tournament. No sandbagging, like zero, nada, none…sandbagging is just not cool.*********** We will be checking ratings via DUPR and PickleballBrackets and where there is a question of eligibility we will reach out to you as a player. We reserve the right to refund your registration fee if you do not match our registration criteria. Note for players without a partner: If you don’t have a partner, it’s cool -> we love you and want you to play! Register solo and we will match you up with the next single to register. I will do my best to pair you up. We don’t want to leave any Chicks out! Note that as the tournament becomes closer to sold out, we do prioritize Chicks who register with a partner. Fee: Register $65 eachOR Register using our Partner Bundle and save, save, save! $110 for both Chicks.Refund Policy: No refunds however ... if you find a player to take your place you can arrange payment from that player and let us know the name change.
