Date: Time: 9.30pm to 12midday Venue: The Leigh Academy Years: 3/4 Competition Rules Squads of up to 10 players.There must be 5 players on the court (including goalkeeper) with 2 boys and 3 girls at all times.Players must be from Y3/4Organisers will centrally time games. Each game will be 8 minutes one way.Points:Win=2,Draw=1,Loss=0Total points will decide group placing, if there is a draw then point’s difference will be used.If an attacking player enters the opposition ‘D’, the goalkeeper wins possession of the ball.If a defender enters his/her own area, the team in attack wins a penalty.Players cannot score from their own half.No body contact is allowed; any contact results in a free throw against the offending player.Players can only stand stationary with the ball for three seconds.Players can only move while carrying the ball for three steps.Please note that dribbling is NOT allowed.If a player knocks the ball out of play at the side of the court, the opposition begins play again with a free throw.If the ball goes behind the goal, off either team, the goalkeeper gains possession of the ball.The goalkeeper can only pass to a player in their own half.Players must not wear gloves. Participants will learn Indian folk dance (rhythmical, Bollywood movements), These workshops are fun and interactive for early years onwards. Beeja are an Indian dance company that works as a collective and its methods draw on the skills of its members — bharatanatyam and other Indian classical dance forms; bollywood; Indian folk. Minimum age 3 years Please note that the child must be accompanied by an adult however only the child attending the workshop will require a ticket.
