Le Grand PoutineFest is a festival dedicated to celebrating a Canadian classic, poutine. Held in cities across Canada, the event features numerous food stalls serving up creative and traditional poutine. The popular Grand PoutineFest summer tour will hit nearly 17 stops this year. In addition to the gourmet food experience, Le Grand PoutineFest also includes live music, entertainment, and family-friendly interactive programs, making it a social and cultural event for all ages.

The Biosphere is a unique building with a fascinating history. Now home to a museum dedicated to the environment, this sphere was originally a popular pavilion at the 1967 World's Fair. The geodesic dome connects Buckminster Fuller's ecological thinking with current environmental issues. This exhibition presents the Biosphere's history but also offers an introduction to current exhibitions and the connections between art, society, and the environment.

Admire the most fascinating specimens in the Planetarium's meteorite collection, the largest of its kind in Quebec and the third largest in Canada. Each meteorite carries its own story, whether related to its fall to Earth or the circumstances surrounding its discovery. They are named after distant lands, yet each meteorite sheds light on the turbulent past of the solar system, the time of the birth of the Sun and the planets. An invitation to travel through time and space!

Exploring the ancestral sites of her nation as well as the environments of her daily life, Meryl McMaster explores a history inscribed in the landscape. Through a series of photographic self-portraits taken in various locations across North America, she explores her ties to her Plains Cree/Métis ancestors on her father's side, and her British/Dutch ancestors on her mother's. Through her wanderings, the artist seeks to hear the memory of ancient sites. From visiting these places and telling ancient stories, a sense of connection emerges. Her journeys sometimes take place in unknown territories or places that have forgotten the past. Her thoughts then turn to the great migrations her ancestors made, both by land and water, to trace her history. In her images, where her imagination is given free rein, erratic boulders become the ancient guardians of the natural world; birds, companions she cradles and guides her to the answers she seeks in the sky; Insects, witnesses to the power of life and the importance of maintaining ecological balance. The memory Meryl McMaster carries on her back intertwines generations and lineages, geological eras and ancestral territories. It is embodied in a series of outdoor images, where the beauty of the landscapes coexists with the memories of an often devastating colonial history. As Strong as the Wind showcases the work of an artist who faces the flow of time and reconnects with those who came before her.

To honor the legacy of Hubert Reeves, the Planetarium offers you an exhibition highlighting his words and writings.

Come experience an immersive, personalized, and interactive watershed discovery! On this journey through a watershed, your senses of hearing, touch, sight, and smell will be captivated by this exploration of nature and its variety of aquatic ecosystems. Traveling through headwaters, lakes, wetlands, and rivers, you'll encounter a rich biodiversity of surprising organisms from the aquatic world and learn about what happens underwater. As a bonus, you'll learn some actions you can take to improve your relationship with these fascinating ecosystems. Intended for families and students ages 8 and up, this activity was originally designed by the UQAM BiCÉAB Chair, which conducts research in aquatic sciences, and developed and produced by the firm TKNL.

What is science? How is it practiced? The brand-new Ecolab highlights the importance of the scientific approach while introducing you to the various phenomena linked to water and air pollution.
