Guest appearances from Romany heritage poets Raine Geoghegan, Louise Doughty and Amanda Garrie will offer insight into the culture and the importance of sharing this before the old ways are forgotten. Readings will be drawn from the KIN anthology (Salmon Press, 2024) and the authors' wider repertoire. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions for deeper understanding about lifestyle, writing content and process and also to get to know the poets. Limited copies of the book will be available to purchase at the event or, in advance, directly from Salmon Press. The T'Articulation troupe are delighted to host this event in collaboration with Southsea Community Cinema -- which will be screening Roma films, in separate events alongside our offering.
