Cyanotype printing is one of the earliest forms of photography invented nearly 200 years ago. Cyanotype prints are also called blue prints or sun prints and are an easy way to create an image without needing complicated photographic equipment, with plenty of scope for experimentation. In this workshop participants will experience how to coat paper with cyanotype solution and expose it to the sun to create a small series of their own cyanotype prints. Together we will gather inspiration for image making and experiment with a range of everyday items that can be found inside and outside your home.
