This 2 evening class will guide you through creating your own linocut design from carving to completion! -Class 1 (April 25): Carve -Class 2 (May 2): Print This is a low pressure class; there will be plenty of time to work through your design and you have the option of taking your block home between class 1 & 2 if needed . INSTRUCTOR: Natalie Ley of Snake Bite Creations PROJECT: Students will create a linocut print up to 4"x6"; learning how to carve a block and using ink to print it by hand. At the end of class 2, you will go home with your block and paper prints. INCLUDED: All materials are included ; a lino block, carving tools, ink, rollers, and paper. PREREQUISITE : None! No experience is required. PLEASE BRING : CLASS 1: Please come with a design in mind. Factory Simulation presented by The House of Sew Participants will role play the workers and managers in a clothing factory in India by making mock clothing in a factory line.
