Bantu Bowls: local ingredient inspired streetfood will be served from 6:30pm. We've got soft drinks as well as wine, beer & cider, organic coffee & locally baked sweet treats. This is a family friendly event, all welcome in our safe space community venue.
There is a backup plan to ensure that this event takes place inside the venue if necesarry due to weather conditions.

This is our 11TH year of running these competitions, the event organisers are always looking to go bigger and better! -Up to 6 Groups, based on grouping lifters at your level, scored on the Sinclair points system. -An incredible atmosphere guarenteed: A large spectator area for all the team to come watch you! -Warm Up Area: You get your own indivudal 3x3m Warmup area, bar and plates! -Photo Op: Two in house photographers caturing every emotion on the platform, creating photos and reels! -Stay Refreshed: Our in house Coffee Shop 'The Grind Coffee House' and brilliant urban location means lifters and their squad will never go hungry, thirsty or uncaffeinated! -Stash: Whats winning without some jazzy prizes to say your the winner right? Each podium place will receive a personalised EWC medal, as well as some extra goodies(Stay tuned for sponsorship announcements) T's&C's: -All lifters in all groups will be ranked on the 'Sinclair' points system. Allowing for a fair compeition. -Athletes will be emailed the week before the meet, asking for an estimated opening total and current bodyweight. -No Refunds will be given sadly, however athletes are able to pass on entries to friends or use to defer entry to another comp. These are coached Club sessions - suitable for beginners up to world champions. To join our Club sessions, you need to be able to confidently swim 2 lengths of a pool (on the surface). You must complete the following 2 forms BEFORE ATTENDING THE SESSION: Come & Try Medical Statement NoTanx Liability Release & Assumption of Risk Please email us if you need to borrow fins and/or a mask. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS CURRENTLY A WAITING LIST FOR MEMBERSHIP AFTER ATTENDING 2 TRYOUT SESSIONS We meet around 8.30pm outside the pool either on the edge of the car park or just by the entrance under the canopy in case of rain for a dry session/breath holding exercises, followed by the pool session. For more information please message us on Info@NoTanx.com. We break Freediving into 10 aspects that can be trained separately, and have 42 exercises that train all 10 aspects. Most sessions are Yin (soft internal) working on soft techniques, awareness and efficiency. Other sessions are Yang sessions (hard external) working on monofin technique and flexibility.
