ABOUT JEREMY PELT Pelt...maintains a consistent forward momentum.. while he transmits a modern-day sense of urgency with his songs. Jeremy Pelt has become one of the preeminent young trumpeters within the world of jazz. Forging a bond with the Mingus Big Band very early on, as his career progressed, Pelt built upon these relationships and many others which eventually lead to collaborations with some of the genre's greatest masters. The Laser Masters Invitation Regatta at CYC is the third year of a combined clubs' regatta specifically for Masters. Three races constitute the series and these races are hosted in November, February and March. Enough time to recover between each Race! Race 1 was held on 17 November 2024. Don't worry if you didn't enter/sail, register now for Race 2 on 9 February 2025. Diarise 9 March 2025 for Race 3. You'll be sent a reminder. All races will be raced from CYC in Freshwater Bay with the first warning signal at 10am. Racing will be followed by the opportunity to enjoy lunch and a few drinks with fellow Masters at the lovely Claremont Yacht Club. Come down and join the regular Master Laser sailors at Claremont Yacht Club. Stay on for lunch, plan some future competition, discuss going to the States, Nationals, Regatta in the Trees and other challenges!
