It’s 1995 in Athens, Ohio, and young woman named Agnes Evans is grieving the death of her younger sister Tilly. Upon discovering her sister was an avid Dungeons & Dragons player, Agnes uses one of Tilly’s D&D notebooks to bring her late sister’s fantasies to life, learning more than she expected in the process. The show is a high-energy, campy adventure with comic heroes and cartoonish monsters, all thinly veiled projections of the high schoolers Tilly loved and despised in her short life. “She Kills Monsters” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com She Kills Monsters features mature language and sexual references. It is not recommended for young children. The running time is approximately 2 hours including a 15 minute intermission. $10 Adults
$8 Students/Seniors

HOLY TOLEDO! LoST on the North Coast Inland Trail - Smart-guided Cycle Tour | CycleNuts Selfie Tour - North Coast Inland Trail
Mar 1, 2025 (UTC-5)ENDED
Trail
HOLY TOLEDO! LoST on the North Coast Inland Trail- a Smart-guided Cycle Tour in Northwest OhioGo long - go short - go in-between - or go HOLY TOLEDO! 4 options on this LoST cycling adventure on a historical northern Ohio rail-to-trail. The North Coast Inland Trail primarily follows a route built by the Toledo, Norwalk, and Cleveland Railroad (TN&C) from 1851-1853. The short (FREE), medium and long options of the LoST cover an 18-mile section of the NCIT (North Coast Inland Trail) through Lorain and Huron counties with a common tasty turnaround spot. These are mostly on paved-level rail-to-trails bikeways. The HOLY TOLEDO! option goes all the way to... Toledo... of course! This, too, has numerous miles of paved-level rails-to-trails bikeways except for segments of the NCIT that are not yet in place and western segments that are crushed stone/gravel. It has the same common tasty turnaround spot as the three above tours. But, it continues towards Toledo ...or as far as you can go before heading back to the starting spot. Maybe you are going all the way - HOLY TOLEDO! - that- is 210 total miles. Points of Interest: small townsfarmland and parksPoints of Interest only with HOLY TOLEDO!: ToledoLake ErieLevi SquarecampgroundsMaumee RiverPearson MetroparkGlass City MetroparkMaumee Bay State ParkTony Packo's RestaurantMad River & NKP Railroad MuseumNational Museum of the Great LakesBikeways: Black Trail*Glass City Riverwalk*Coontz Complex Path*North Coast Inland Trail (NCIT)Rails To Trails Next To Maumee River**only with HOLY TOLEDO! The North Coast Inland Trail (NCIT) was created in 1992 when seven park districts agreed to develop a system connecting trails in northwest Ohio. On August 15, 1998, the Lorain County Metro Parks opened a section of the trail measuring 148 acres. Most of the NCIT is a 12-foot-wide paved trail built over an abandoned Toledo, Norwalk, and Cleveland Railroad line. The NCIT runs for 65 miles from Lorain to Toledo with some sections still being built. The Lorain County Metro Parks’ portion runs from Lake Erie in Lorain to the county line in Wakeman. (Lorain County Metro Parks) Eventually, the NCIT is planned to cross northern Ohio making history by connecting bordering states Indiana and Pennsylvania. LoST is an acronym for Long or Short Tour - a CycleNuts Group Tour favorite. Because this tour originally had three lengths, it was called a Triple LoST. With the addition of Toledo, it was renamed to Holy Toledo! OH - a LoST Smart-guided North Coast Inland Trail Adventure. Go all the way or part of the way - rider's choice! 12 (FREE), 21, 37, 210 miles on this beautiful countryside rail-to-trail bikeway. 3 starting spots - 4 tour lengths - 1 common CycleNuts tested and approved pet-friendly tasty turnaround spot for all, except the HOLY TOLEDO tourists will continue towards Toledo. How this LoSt Tour works. Three lengths go to and from a CycleNuts-tested and approved tasty turnaround spot - the HOLY TOLEDO continues towards Toledo. You have options. You can ride solo at your leisure. You can invite your crew to join you, each choosing their comfortable length. Remember to adjust the starting times for each so that all can ride together to the tasty turnaround spot. The three shorter routes are 92% bikeway with few opportunities to use your bike's climbing gears. They are shaded about 50% of the way. The Holy Toledo! tour is 74% bikeway and about 50% sunny. More about the HOLY TOLEDO! OT (Overnight Tour) optionAt 105 miles each way it would make for a mild endurance event of 210 miles. With the logistics of a couple of nearby campgrounds, it could also serve as a multi-day bikepacking adventure. The several small towns it passes through, along with Toledo, have conventional hotels that could make this a more comfortable touring adventure. Warmshowers, hotels, and Airbnb overnight stays are other options for HOLY TOLEDO! trekkers. In Toledo, there are some notable points of interest to check out. First off, pinpointing the root of the phrase, 'Holy Toledo', is a real thing for Toledoans. A brief online search will only tease the imagination and lead to numerous rabbit holes and a wild goose chase, or two, to investigate. You see where this is leading. Toledo is home to Jamie Farr - one of the stars of MASH, that long-running sitcom. Tony Packo's restaurant is included in the tour route -notable as a hangout of the star Farr, and the birthplace of the Hungarian hot dog. If you are ever in Toledo, Ohio, on the Hungarian side of town, Tony Packo’s got the greatest Hungarian hot dogs.” (~ Klinger, MASH) Home of the Hungarian hot dog, and the collection of hot dog buns signed by Burt Reynolds and numerous other celebrities over the decades. It's on the tour route if you are interested. Toledo - the Glass City - is famously known as a glass manufacturing city. It is the first city in America to have an all-glass exterior building, built in the early 20th century. Remnants and memorabilia are abundant throughout the city. Artist Open Studio Series - Maren Stubenvoll | 140 Graves Trail #7b
Mar 7, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Trail
An artist reception and dance performance celebrating the works of Maren Stubenvoll. The art is installed at the RDE studios for dancers to draw inspiration and create choreography that is performed at the reception. The works will be on display and there is a casual performance experience with general admission seating. Performance pieces will feature choreography by Nico Hurley & Erin Levy. The studio will open at 6:30, and the choreography will be performed 3 times every 45 minutes starting at 7pm. With an enduring fascination for the natural world and mountain communities, Maren’s work balances the significance and humor she finds in her mountain adventures. Through bold mixed media and acrylic paintings, she brings to life strong characters that reflect the complexity, humor, and humanity of Montanans. She aims to trade the violence depicted in traditional western art for a more whimsical, humorous, colorful, and idealized vision of what makes the wild west beautiful.

Women cyclists are welcome to join RATS Chicks Rides International Women’s Day ride and lunch on the beautiful Northern Rivers Rail Trail followed by a convivial lunch at the Riverview Hotel Murwillumbah (and for the very adventurous an optional MTB ride at Uki afterwards). The rail trail ride will be a light hearted and social ride, not a fast-paced workout! Note, all times are DST/NSW times, so the 930 start is 830am Qld time. Please be ready to roll at 930am NSW time. You must also bring a torch or bike torch to go through the tunnel - it’s compulsory as it’s quite dark! Unlike our MTB rides, any capable and in good condition MTB, e-bike, hybrid or gravel bike will work fine on the trail (but MTB will be needed if you head to the optional Uki ride in the afternoon). WEAR SOMETHING PURPLE! Suitable for: 🟢 cyclists who can ride 50km on gravel and pavement trails (no features or obstacles) at a decent social pace. YOU MUST RSVP VIA OUR EVENTBRITE LISTING SO THAT WE CAN GET NUMBERS FOR THE HOTEL LUNCH. THERE ARE LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE. Location: The trailhead at Murwillumbah across the road from the Riverview hotel. Parking will be busy, but there is heaps of parking on surrounding streets. The rail trail is an easy and pleasant 50km with most incline relatively gentle on the way out rather than back. The trail itself is bitumen in places, but predominantly smoothed gravel. There are some small places along the way to pick up a drink or snack if you’ve forgotten to bring your own or want to top up! Bring your camera or phone camera as the sights are very pretty. Don’t forget the torch for the long tunnel! Time: Rollout is at 830am Qld time/930 am NSW time, so aim to get there by 8am to get ready and be briefed on the ride. Make sure you check in prior. Bring: Auscycling Insurance (see below for more details), water/electrolytes, snacks, sunscreen, tools, helmet, capable bike and your sense of humour 🤣. Check in: please fill out your check in form before arrival: https://shorturl.at/sDXw7 Post-lunch Ride: Uki trails at about 3pm if you have the energy to soldier on and give these trails a go. Only about 6km of trails, but it can be a lot of uphill! Your crew: TBA (ride lead), supported by TBA Insurance and Membership: All riders must have AusCycling insurance, you are covered if you are a member of the RATS or another affiliated MTB or cycling club. If not, get a free trial AusCycling licence here, which will cover you for a few rides: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial

***If you would like to join this ride but it is cost prohibitive to do so or if you need to borrow gear to make it happen, please let us know. We’ll be leaving Campfire Cycling at around 9AM for a +/- 30 mile ride down the loop (Paved bike path) most of the way to Colossal Cave State Park We’ll be staying at a group campground with room for 20 tents. We will also be setting aside a middle meetup option for folks that don't want to/can't ride the full 30 miles. On our Community Events/Rides we follow our Campfire Code of Conduct. We strive to create a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels welcome and heard. We don't assume anyone's abilities based on outwards appearance. We take responsibility for our actions and words. We respect the land, it's original stewards and leave no trace. If this is your first bikepacking trip, we are here to help. If you like advise on gear need or want any other advice we strongly recommend you stop by with your bike or pack up your bike for the trip and bring it by the shop so we can checkout your setup and make recommendations as needed. Feel free to setup an appointment or just stop on by. While this is a beginner oriented bikepacking trip, everyone is welcome. I’m sure all of the newbies will appreciate having experienced campers along for the ride. It's a great opportunity to do a shake down run with new gear or a new to you setup as well as sharing experinece, knowledge and setups. This will be a no drop ride. We ride at a party pace with many stops and chances for regrouping as well as resupply. Campfire Cycling will also always have a mechanic at the back of the ride so no one is left behind in case trouble arises. There is also food available near the camp. Please be prepared with all of your own camping gear, food and water. This will be semi remote camping without many supplies nearby. Campgound has vault toilets and running water. There are businesses and a grocery store on the route with markets nearby the entrance/exit of the campground. Protect the Land we Ride on. For this trip we will have beautiful scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains who's unique environment is under threat to some heavy mining. Rosemont Canadian Company want to extract and export copper while dumping tons of wast into a mile wide hole that will seep lots of toxins into our groundwater. The Tohono O'odham Tribe as well as many conservation groups have been fighting this mine and for years. Featuring selected works from Cuthand's thirty year career, the exhibition looks at his diaristic explorations of sexuality and politics to performative radical histories and narratives that dive deep into society's treatment of mental health, Indigenous peoples, and land. Always authentic, honest, and raw, Cuthand’s work continues to break open often-taboo topics and give us a new freedom through the camera. The exhibition is generously supported by the Toronto Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts. ----- Image: Theo Jean Cuthand, video still detail, Dreams of Sunlight Through Trees, 2024.
