Redefining Stress: How to Lead with Clarity in a Chaotic World | Med Supper Club
May 7, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Ottawa
Join us for an empowering evening with Transformational Alignment Coach Jodi Wilding for an honest and empowering keynote that challenges the conventional view of stress—and offers a new path to sustainable success and self-leadership in a rapidly changing world.
It is a networking event to help you realign with what truly matters. Through personal insight, grounded wisdom, and practical tools, you’ll learn how to shift from reactivity to presence, and from pressure to personal power.
What to Expect:
Why stress isn’t the enemy-it’s a signal you’re out of alignment.
Learn to lead with calm, clarity, and self-trust—rooted in who you are, not what you do.
How to move from force to flow—so success feels energizing, not exhausting.
Enjoy an evening of networking and meaningful connections with like-minded professionals, all while savouring delicious appetizers.
At every 3WB event, a portion of ticket sales is donated directly to the Ottawa Food Bank. This cause is incredibly close to my heart as I relied on the food bank growing up, and I know firsthand how essential their support is for families in need. Giving back in this way is a personal commitment, and one I will continue to uphold through every event I host.
Hope to see you!

Learn about the role of native plants in supporting local biodiversity and how personal actions like adding native trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses can make a big difference in providing better habitat, while also providing beauty, shade, stormwater management, and more ecosystem resilience.
We’ll discuss how to integrate native plants in your yard, garden beds, and containers. We’ll learn about some common invasive species found in gardens, yards, and green spaces and how individuals and community groups can work to remove them.
We’ll finish with each participant planting a small pot to take home with some native wildflower seeds that will bloom each fall.

She is a certified Tree Seed Collector with Forest Gene Conservation Association, and Pollinator Steward with Pollinator Partnership Canada. With other volunteers at Ottawa South Eco-action Network, she has grown thousands of native seedlings for Pollinator Patch kits as a Butterflyway Ranger in the last three years and for distribution at events, helping to build pollinator corridors through Ottawa South and at community gardens across the city.
With Friends of Riverview Park Green Spaces, she designed, grew hundreds of seedlings and led a team of volunteers who planted a large community pollinator garden and 3 other gardens since 2022. Show Descriptions
The Coven
(A Staged Reading)
by Shanice Pereira
The Coven is an intergenerational magical realist play set between 1800s Guyana and modern-day Canada. The play follows Renette, the first free woman in her family, as she seeks vengeance against her former master. But the curse she casts carries a terrible cost—one that reaches her unborn child. In the present day, teenage Thea is navigating her parents' divorce and finds herself haunted by that same curse.
As past and present blur, The Shadow—a ghostly embodiment of the curse—emerges through contemporary dance and ensemble movement terrorizing generations. Only Thea can guide her family to heal generations of pain and uncover a path to forgiveness - before the darkness consumes them all.
With moments of blocking, choreography, and music, this unconventional staged reading brings the world of The Coven to life, and provides a window into this dynamic new work.
Content Warning:
non-graphic reference to sexual assault, intergenerational trauma, minor visualization and discussion of slavery, stylized violence, witchcraft, the occult, abuse, colonialism, and horror themes
No More Mr. Rice Guy
by Franco Pang
This witty comedy tells the story of a Canadian-born high school student of Chinese descent who enters a rap music contest in the hopes of fulfilling his dreams of becoming a famous rapper. The full-length world premiere of
No More Mr. Rice Guy
integrates all the ingredients that worked so well for its shorter format: the humorous references to Asian culture are innocent, the dialogue is original and quirky, and Franco is as skilled and exceptional as ever in his performance, even from what is presumably his bedroom in Richmond Hill. - Review from Apt 613, Livia Belcea
Nuit
by Trip the Light Theatre Collective
Have you ever wanted to join in on the fun of live theatre? Now you can – with Nuit’s Heckle Night! We invite the audience to yell, give suggestions, tell their own jokes as our performers take to the stage. Get ready for a never before and never again seen version of Nuit!
Does your clubbing experience need more theatre, comedy, and choreographed dance numbers? Then Nuit is the spot for you! This award-winning story follows four queer characters as they stumble and sing their way through a night out: the cycle of partying on full, messy display. Bright lights, funky moves, deep talks and hilarious pit stops showcase themes of sapphic romance, friendship and identity. Winners of The Ottawa Fringe and the Prix Rideau Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance, this cast will make you feel like you are part of the adventure. So get ready for a night you’ll never remember!
