During this engaging workshop, participants will learn the art of printmaking using the innovative Gel Plate process. By up-cycling vintage magazines from the 1930s to 2000s, students will have the opportunity to create their own unique Pop Art prints and cards. The workshop will cover the fundamentals of gel printing, as well as explore techniques such as Botanical Printing and Image Transfer Printing. To ensure a seamless experience, all necessary materials and supplies will be provided. However, students are advised to bring wet wipes and wear clothing that can withstand the creative messiness of the workshop. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch and drink.
