The Black Alumni Group of the SIU Alumni Association hosts its biennial reunion from Thursday, July 17 until Sunday, July 20. The theme for 2025--the 19th reunion in the group's history--is Honoring Our Legacy, Celebrating Milestones, and Inspiring the Future . BAG keeps alive the professional, social, and educational relationships fostered over the years at SIU while aiding, guiding, and supporting current students, administrators, faculty, and staff. The group works to advance the institution by assisting with recruitment, retention, financial assistance, and career development. BAG represents more than 12,000 black alumni who attended and graduated from SIU Carbondale. Everyone is invited to attend this year's event, network with fellow alumni, and learn how you can continue to support SIU.
