The 2024 Symphony Ball is an exquisite evening of music and philanthropy, supporting the Maryland Symphony Orchestra's education outreach and community engagement. This celestial journey will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 5:00 PM in the Maryland Theatre Ballroom, located at 21 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740. The event will be graced by the presence of the renowned Sons of Serendip, a unique Classical crossover quartet consisting of a harpist, cellist, pianist, and lead vocalist. As finalists on Season 9 of America's Got Talent, the group gained popularity through their captivating interpretations of popular music. This one-night-only concert, featuring the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, promises to be an unforgettable experience, filled with timeless hits such as "Carry on Wayward Son," "Bridge over Troubled Water," "Fly Me to the Moon," "Somewhere Only We Know," "A Thousand Years," "I Lived," and more. The event will also pay tribute to Brendan Fitzsimmons, the beloved former MSO Board President, who dedicated his life to serving the community. Attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception, followed by an elegant dinner, thrilling auctions and raffles, and a dessert and champagne toast led by Musical Director Elizabeth Schulze.
