Lowell Greene will train on:
Technician KPI's
- Want to know where you are at in your carrer?
Eric Walker will train on:
ADAS and Controller Area Networking
- How modules talk to each other and what to do if they don't.
"The customer may say, 'It drives fine.' But if ADAS isn't calibrated, it's not safe."
ADAS systems are safety-critical
, supporting features like lane keeping, adaptive cruise, and emergency braking that help prevent collisions.
Precise sensor and camera alignment is essential
—ride height, suspension, and even small misalignments can compromise system accuracy.
Calibration must be performed after key repairs
(windshields, bumpers, alignments, etc.) using OEM procedures to ensure proper system function.
Technicians must understand how ADAS systems interact
, as not all calibrations are the same, and warning lights or DTCs may not reveal the full issue.
"The CAN system allows modules to communicate without the need for direct wiring between each component—it's like a digital conversation across the entire car."
CAN is the communication backbone
of modern vehicles—modules use a shared bus (CAN High & Low) to broadcast and receive data continuously.
A fault in one module can affect the entire network
, leading to multiple warning lights, communication loss, or system shutdowns.
Power and ground aren't enough
—a module may appear powered but still fail if it can’t communicate over the CAN network.
Scope diagnostics are essential
to confirm waveform integrity and identify faulty or noisy components on the network.

About Hotter in the Hamptons
Travel to the heart of the Hamptons in an irresistible summer fling from
New York Times

As New York City’s fashion it-girl, Lola has been living her dream. But when her career comes to a screeching halt after a very public snafu, everything Lola has worked for – her loyal following, her designer closet, her perfect boyfriend – starts to go up in flames. And when notorious culture critic Aly Ray Carter lights the final match by writing a scathing exposé, it feels as if Lola has lost it all.
When Lola flees to the Hamptons to escape her mistakes, she expects to spend her summer drinking Minuty by the pool while carefully rebuilding both her confidence and her brand. Instead, she looks over the trimmed hedges to see none other than her rival and newest neighbor: Aly Ray Carter.
As summer blazes on, Lola is swept into an intoxicating situation with the woman who ruined her life, marred by chaos and confusion as she tries to pinpoint why Aly has her so captivated. She thought the Hamptons would be the perfect place to outrun her mess, but quickly realizes there’s no place to run.

Dallas
Meet bestselling author Katherine Center at your Flagship HPB on Thursday, May 22 at 7 p.m. Katherine will join us to discuss and sign their latest book,
The Love Haters
. Tickets include a copy of the book.
About
The Love Haters
Katie Vaughn has been burned by love in the past—now she may be lighting her career on fire. She has two choices: wait to get laid off from her job as a video producer or, at her coworker Cole’s request, take a career-making gig profiling Tom “Hutch” Hutcheson, a Coast Guard rescue swimmer in Key West. The catch? Katie’s not exactly qualified. She can’t swim—but pretends that she can.
Plus, Cole and Hutch are brothers. And they don’t get along. Next stop: paradise! But paradise is messier than it seems. As Katie gets entangled with Hutch (the most scientifically good-looking man she has ever seen . . . but maybe a bit of a love hater), along with his colorful aunt Rue and his rescue Great Dane, she gets trapped in a lie. Or two. Swim lessons, helicopter flights, conga lines, drinking contests, hurricanes, and stolen kisses ensue—along with chances to tell the truth, to face old fears, and to be truly brave at last.

About Rewind it Back
Hallie
When I was eleven, my family moved next door to his.
When I was thirteen, he was my first crush.
When I was sixteen, we fell for each other.
And when I was nineteen, we broke each other's hearts.
Six years later, I've landed an internship with a big-name interior designer in a new city.
Unfortunately, that city just so happens to be the one
he
plays hockey for.
I thought Chicago was big enough to avoid him, until I get the surprise of a lifetime and unknowingly move in right next door.
Even worse? The renovation project I'm assigned to in hopes of turning that internship into my full-time dream job...
It's
his
house.
But how am I supposed to update his bachelor pad into a family home when we can't even stand to be in the same room?
I may have loved Rio DeLuca once, but I'm not that same girl anymore.
Rio
I never thought I'd be the only single one left in my friend group.
But after years of trying to find love, I've concluded it may not exist for me anymore.
That is until I accidentally hire Hallie Hart to renovate my house and our jaded history has me rewinding memories I've kept secret for years.
You see, there's something that my friends don't know.
That connection I've been looking for since I moved to Chicago, that one person some search their entire lives to find... I had already found her when I was twelve years old.
And now the only girl I've ever loved is moving into the house next door.
Again.

Feedback for Actors | Central Commons
May 29, 2025 (UTC-5)
Dallas
FEEDBACK [feed-bak] – noun: a reaction or response to a particular process or activity.
Anyone who has explored the creative process understands the value of feedback. Exposing our “works in progress” to the critique of our peers certainly takes courage, but feedback can also take our creative endeavors from average to excellent. Art House Dallas wants to provide an encouraging environment within a small group setting to explore your strengths and potential areas of growth as an artist.
In Actors Feedback, participating actors will present a monologue or scene (no more than 5 pages) in front of a panel consisting of a seasoned actor, theater professional (director/producer), and film professional (director/producer). The panel will provide feedback, and the actor will have the option to perform their piece again incorporating any feedback that resonated.
There are also audit slots for this event available to actors and film and theater professionals.

GUIDELINES FOR FEEDBACK :: Actors
Feedback for Visual Artists is a place where expression, discussion, and new ideas are encouraged. Art House Dallas wants to connect you with one another and pave the way for developing friendships. So, join us for a night of learning and inspiration through the sharing of ideas with fellow artists.
This Feedback Session will be focused on the artistic process and in-process art, so do not feel pressured to bring something you've perfected.
T his is a great opportunity to get feedback on audition materials, or that section of a script you don't quite feel you're nailing,
When you express an opinion about someone else's performance, whether it fits your taste or not, it's more important to explain precisely what is good about it and which are the weaker areas that could be improved.
Please remember that any kind of negative criticism is always going to be a bit painful, so be tactful and accurate. Most people tend to over-react to negative criticism, despite the need to improve, so you should compensate for that a little bit
Come Prepared: This isn't the space for a cold read. Bring something you feel you need a little work on.
Keep an open mind: Know that everything is a work in progress and there are always different approaches to creating and executing a project.
Let the work Speak: Often as artists, our insecurities will get the best of us and we want to over-explain or give a disclaimer.
Twice as many positive comments as negative. Be as specific as you can.
Do not present a problem without suggesting a solution. In other words, do not just say what you think is wrong.
Do not make any jokes, they are much too easily misinterpreted.
Please Note: Registering for this event or adding your name to the waitlist is also an agreement to receive occasional emails from Art House Dallas about upcoming events.
