Himeji
Himeji Castle, a world heritage site known as Japan's national treasure, is a must-visit attraction for many tourists when traveling to Kansai. This winter, a gorgeous light and shadow feast "Himeji Castle History Mirror Flower Water Moon" will be held to show the other side of Himeji Castle! The event will be held at Sannomaru Square, with the concept of "Elegant Night Under the Castle", recreating the scenery of Himeji Castle and its surroundings during the Edo period, and cleverly using the "Kosode" pattern, a characteristic costume of the people at that time, to create a classical art installation, accompanied by melodious music, presenting a gentle and warm night view of the ancient city.
The venue is roughly divided into eight areas. For example, in the "Awakening Mukaiyashiki Garden", you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Himeji Castle reflected in the pond; the "Light of Sannomaru-Oji", a light avenue with a total length of about 100 meters, is also surrounded by dazzling lights. Each area is very exciting!
