The Mount Fuji Kawaguchiko Opening Fireworks Festival began in 1977 (Showa 52) and has been loved by people in and outside of Yamanashi Prefecture since ancient times. It is a fireworks display that marks the opening of Mount Fuji. The event is held on the first Saturday of July every year at Kawaguchiko in Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture, marking the arrival of summer. They are famous for being the first fireworks to be set off in Yamanashi Prefecture. With Mount Fuji as the background, a variety of fireworks such as rapid-fire fireworks and starlight fireworks paint the summer night sky in brilliant colors.

The Kawaguchiko Festival has been held since 1917 (Taisho 6) and has become synonymous with summer at Kawaguchiko. It is also the largest fireworks display among the many summer festivals around the Fuji Five Lakes. With the majestic Mount Fuji as the background, about 10,000 fireworks, including musical fireworks and large fireworks, are launched into the sky, forming beautiful reflections on the water.

The massive Fuji Shibazakura Festival is held near Lake Motosu in Yamanashi Prefecture. It is the Kanto region's largest moss phlox event, and is a colorful spring event. With 800,000 moss phlox plants planted across an area of approximately 2.4 hectares, the festival has the majestic Mount Fuji in the background.
The view of Mt. Fuji and the seven varieties of moss phlox in colors including pink, purple, and white is a perfect spot for Instagram.
At the venue, you can also enjoy gourmet food such as limited edition packaging featuring Yamanashi Prefecture's specialty, Kikyo Shingen Mochi, and fried chicken made from lava from Mt. Fuji.
The Fuji Shibazakura Festival is a spectacular spot where you can feel the arrival of spring, and is highly recommended for families, couples, and photographers.

The Fuji Motosuko Resort in Lake Kawaguchi is once again hosting the autumn-only "Rainbow Flower Festival" this year, where visitors can enjoy a total of about 80,000 flowers at once. 15 kinds of colorful flowers and the spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. There are many photo-taking devices in the park, such as the "Rainbow Flower Boat" and the "Happy Yellow Gate", which are perfect for checking in!
The Rainbow Flower Festival is a summer event held by the Fuji Motosuko Resort. This year is the third year of the event, from August 31 to October 14, with the theme of "Feel the Autumn Early". At that time, the park will plant 15 kinds of nearly 80,000 flowers, including yellow chrysanthemums, zinnias, crabapple flowers, patchouli, and salvias, which will decorate the foothills of Mount Fuji with colorful colors. Visitors can feel the autumn that has arrived early at the cool foot of Mount Fuji.
