From 2 to 3 PM, immerse yourself in the insightful Artist Talks where each resident artist will reveal their personal journey towards becoming the talented artisans they are today. This event, hosted by Daylight Artist Collective, provides a welcoming environment for artists to connect and be encouraged. Whether you bring your own project or simply come to chat and hang out with local artists, this gathering is sure to inspire and foster creativity. The $10 fee contributes towards maintaining our space, ensuring rent and utilities are covered. Located on the 3rd floor of a beautiful, historic building, Daylight Artist Collective is a thriving hub for creative expression. Join the monthly group ride and maintenance clinic at Trek Westerville, where you can enhance your riding skills and gain confidence. The Trek Westerville Ride & Wrench event takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month, except in June when it is moved to the 2nd Sunday due to Father's Day. The evening begins with a casual group ride at 5:30pm, followed by a bike maintenance clinic at 6:30pm. Each clinic focuses on a specific skill, so by the end of September, you will have the knowledge to keep your bike running smoothly. Unfortunately, the April 16th clinic on Bike Anatomy & Parts of the Bike was canceled due to weather conditions, but don't worry, we have plenty of informative sessions lined up for you. In May, we will cover Pre-Ride Safety Check and Bike Anatomy & Parts of the Bike. In June, join us to learn how to fix a flat tire, and in July, we will cover both fixing a flat tire and how to lube your chain. August's clinic will focus on bike washing techniques, and in September, we will teach you how to adjust your shifting. The group ride is a combination of C & B pace, moving at 10-15 mph, and covers around 10-20 miles on bike paths. Please remember to wear your helmet and have lights on your bike. The WSHS Fall Youth Cheer Clinic is an annual event that is set to take place on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm at Westerville South High School in Westerville, Ohio. This in-person clinic is designed for young cheerleaders in grades Pre-K to 8 who are looking to enhance their skills and have a great time. Regardless of whether they are beginners or have some prior cheer experience, all skill levels are welcome to participate in this exciting event. By joining the Fall Youth Cheer Clinic, participants will have the opportunity to not only improve their cheerleading abilities but also make new friends. As an added bonus, all clinic attendees will be invited to cheer alongside the WSHS Cheerleaders during the first quarter of the Wildcat Varsity football game on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 7pm.
