Volunteering at GFNY Pennsylvania in 2023 offers a unique and enjoyable experience filled with camaraderie, goodwill, and excitement. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to become an integral part of GFNY race weekend, contributing to the creation of an unforgettable event for athletes, spectators, journalists, and special guests from around the world. With over 200 volunteers needed over four days, your time, energy, support, and enthusiasm are crucial to the success of GFNY.
On September 10, 2023, the endurance cycling race will take place in York, Pennsylvania. Before the race, from September 7 to September 9, we will be setting up at the York Expo Center, Horticultural Hall. The race itself will start and finish at the York Expo Center grounds.
GFNY athletes are dedicated individuals who have trained tirelessly to conquer the challenging GFNY Cycling Marathon. As a volunteer, you can help welcome and assist these athletes, ensuring they are prepared and ready to race. There are various roles available for volunteers, including registration, setup, aid stations, clean-up, and motorcycle marshaling, among others. Regardless of age or knowledge about cycling, your contribution at the expo, aid stations, or the finish line is invaluable.
Volunteer registration is based on your availability, and you will receive detailed instructions via email before your shift begins. We provide all the necessary information and guidance, so you can focus on making a meaningful impact.
