The J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize, named after two influential community leaders in Columbus, celebrates excellence in architecture, art, and design. By bridging the gap between traditional architectural masterpieces and contemporary creativity, the Miller Prize aims to create a vibrant and inclusive community. Since 2016, Exhibit Columbus has recognized 19 studios with this prestigious award.
Sara Zewde, the recipient of the Miller Prize, is the founding principal of Studio Zewde. Her projects challenge established landscape architecture traditions and embrace culture, ecology, and craft. Zewde's work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale and recognized with numerous awards, including the National Olmsted Scholar and the United States Artists Fellow.
