The Dachshund Dash race will take place at the renowned Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest, located at 301 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. This in-person gathering invites both Dachshund owners and passionate enthusiasts to witness these adorable pups showcase their lightning-fast skills as they sprint towards the finish line. The race is exclusively for Dachshunds or Dachshund mixes. Each heat, consisting of 4-6 dogs, will have a winner who will receive a small prize. Subsequently, the heat winners will compete for an overall champion title and a separate prize. This event is a unique opportunity to connect with fellow Dachshund enthusiasts and forge new friendships with four-legged companions. Gates for Oktoberfest open at 11 am, with the Dachshund Dash commencing at 2 pm.
