Participants have the option to join in for the full Sufferfest experience or customize their adventure. The day begins with a scenic bike ride to Smith Rock, covering approximately 30 miles. Expect a leisurely 2.5-hour journey one way. At Smith Rock, climbers can partner up for thrilling rock climbing activities and take part in an exhilarating scavenger hunt. Remember to bring your climbing gear and a climbing partner. If you need a partner, just email beta@boardworksclimbing.com. For those who prefer a modified adventure, you can meet directly at Smith Rock or join the biking portion of the event. Raffle tickets will be awarded for completed biking and scavenger hunt activities. If you choose the modified option, please arrange your own transportation. The class starts with a light-hearted flow session, where participants will move their bodies for approximately 45 minutes, before transitioning into a deeply relaxing sound bath. Starting at 12:00 PM MST, participants can walk, run, or do a combination of both to complete the 5k loop. For those seeking a shorter distance, there is a scalable option of a 1-mile run/walk. Additionally, you can choose to walk one mile with Denise, a member of the M48 road team, or run/jog one mile with Kelsey's Dad, Todd. Both Denise and Todd will be completing a mile in every state as part of the Mission48 challenge. This event aims to empower women and girls to step out of their comfort zones and build self-confidence. Mission48 also supports ROX, a charity that provides 20-week programs in schools to teach young girls about self-confidence, body image, and leadership skills.
