Join the Women's and Femme Folks Raccoon Mountain trail work party in Chattanooga on November 4, 2023. This volunteer event provides an opportunity for participants to contribute to the preservation and maintenance of Raccoon Mountain. No prior trail work experience is necessary, making it accessible to all. Women and femme individuals are especially encouraged to attend. During the event, volunteers will gather at the East Overlook parking lot at 9am. The day will begin with coffee and snacks to fuel participants for the work ahead. Please remember to bring sturdy work boots or shoes, long pants and sleeves, work gloves, and eye protection. If you don't have your own, don't worry – we will have some available for you. Additionally, bring easy-to-carry hydration to stay refreshed throughout the day. All the necessary tools will be provided, and there will be water and trail snacks available.
