Emma, oringinally from the Northamptonshire, has been teaching yoga for 10 years across Dubai, Singapore and now in Hong Kong,and teaches with a focus on connecting movement with the breath and injecting flow and creativity into her classes.

Slowing down in the woods can help all of us to relax and manage emotions, improve our sleep and concentration, and boost our immune system. No fitness or experience is needed - we'll make sure you find your own way to connect with nature, and leave with ideas and activities you can use at home.
Good to know:
Session designed for children aged 5+ and their carers. Please contact us before booking if you are considering bringing younger children.
Children must be accompanied, max 3 child places per adult carer ticket.
As we’ll be exploring an outdoors space, make sure you are all wearing clothes and shoes that will keep you warm and dry, and that can get a little (or a lot!) dirty.
If you have a picnic mat/ground sheet or similar, please bring this for sitting activities (we will have some spares available if needed).
Please use the questions on the booking form to let us know if there is anything we should be aware of, to take care of you and your family during the session (e.g. allergies, health issues, difficulties with mobility).
During the session any distance we cover (max 1 kilometre) will be at a slow pace.

Get ahead and book a fun morning out for the summer holidays! Based on a small countryside home yard in Brockhall, Northamptonshire. Whether you are looking to come along in a group, or to have some sensory one-on-one creative time with your child, everyone is welcome. This particular pottery workshop will be focusing on making a plaque/tile or set of smaller tiles. Materials such as flowers & foliage, shells, pine cones, stamps, different shaped cutters, and other materials will be available to create designs. The children will be encouraged to get creative and use their imagination, to create a piece that is unique to them. Lots of texture material will be supplied to inspire the children, but if you would like to have a forage around your garden or in the woods beforehand for any leaves, flowers and organic objects to press into the clay please feel free to bring it along. Tile/Plaque UsesName plaques are ideal for bedroom door signs. The plaque doesn’t have to include a name, it could be personalised with a favourite quote, line from a song, a date, or simply decorated as a piece of hanging wall art. How many pieces?The session will focus on creating one main piece, but if your child has time left at the end, they are more than welcome to make more, or lots of extra smaller pieces. The amount of clay provided will be unlimited. Children welcome aged 5 - 14 approx, accompanied by an adult will be shown step by step demonstrations and be guided by Charlotte throughout the making experience. Hot chocolate with marshmallows, squash or water provided. Feel free to bring own snacks. There is no obligation to do so, but if any children would like to, there will be an opportunity to meet our ponies, chickens and Labrador puppy at the end of the workshop.

Learn the skills of a Crime Scene Investigator ...
Explore the exciting world of the Forensic Investigator in this unforgettable interactive experience day.
You will spend the day using real forensic methods and techniques to perform a range of established crime scene investigations. All investigations that you perform are "hands-on", giving you the opportunity to learn how these procedures work in real life.
Your day will include:
DRUG TESTING:
Perform a drugs test! The suspect was carrying a small plastic bag of a white substance when arrested. He was known to police as a cocaine dealer. Was he carrying cocaine?
Carry out chemical tests to establish if the white powder was cocaine?
FINGERPRINTING:
Learn how to lift and record fingerprints using the conventional dusting process to detect and preserve fingerprints.
MICROSCOPY:
Use a light microscope to forensically examine crime scene samples. Discover how to use different magnifying powers to optimise the results.
FABRIC SAMPLE ANALYSIS:
Compare samples collected at the crime scene and on the suspect to identify human hairs.
SOIL ANALYSIS:
Analyse soil samples collected from the crime scene and compare against soil recovered from the suspect's shoes. Identify which soil sample is common between both crime scene and suspect. Use chemical tests to confirm your results.
TOOL MARK IDENTIFICATION:
You have a known tool impression from the crime scene. Use forensic casting techniques to create clay impressions and compare with a range of tools recovered from the suspect's tool shed. Which tool did he use?
BLOOD DETECTION:
Blood-like stains were found at the crime scene. Before sending samples to the forensic lab we need to establish if they are blood samples. Use established forensic tests and procedures to identify blood spots and stains that may not be visible to the naked eye.
DNA EXTRACTION:
Perform an extraction procedure to extract DNA from samples provided. You will be able to see (and feel) actual DNA once you have completed the process!
