Experiment with watercolours | Priest Weston Village Hall (community centre)
Arts
Painting
Whether you've used watercolours lots before or never have, come and have fun experimenting with lots of techniques, (eg cling film, salt, oil, toothbrushes, candles and wax crayons..... wet on wet. wet on dry, adding pencils, permanent pens etc) and then spend about 3/4 hour on a longer piece! All materials are provided but if you have a favourite set of paints or brushes you want to bring, please do! Watercolours aren't really messy but it's always best to wear painting suitable clothes! Hot drinks and cake provided. I really want young people to enjoy art (I'm a trained primary and early years teacher) so children who are interested in art are welcome if age 8 and over. However the class is designed for adults so children up to age of 14 must be supervised by an adult carer who is responsible for their behaviour. If they disrupt the class I'm afraid you will have to leave. I do hope you understand. (If you want me to run some classes for chuildren, please discuss separately with me!)
