Join the Independent Publishing Resource Center (IPRC) in Portland for an immersive two-day workshop, "Two-Day Intro to Letterpress Printing." This comprehensive class offers a deep dive into the art of letterpress printing, a traditional craft with a rich history. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will engage in hands-on demonstrations and gain practical experience in setting type by hand using IPRC's extensive collection of over 150 fonts of lead and wood type. By the end of the weekend, students will have the skills to create a small edition of prints, and successful completion of this class grants access to IPRC members for open studio hours to continue honing their printing skills.
