Join Lan Art&Design Studio in Tempe for the Handmade Ornaments Holiday Prep Kick Off! This in-person paper collage workshop is the perfect opportunity to create unique ornaments for yourself or loved ones. With limited seats available in a group of 6, it's an exclusive event. However, if you prefer to book a private workshop for your own group (minimum of 6, maximum of 14), simply email the studio for arrangements. Additionally, at-home private workshops are also an option. During the workshop, attendees will learn the art of working with alcohol ink on yupo paper and create their very own one-of-a-kind collage ornaments. This includes making an iconic desert landscape ornament with customizable color choices, as well as the opportunity to create a design of your own or follow the instructor's lead. For inspiration and ideas, check out examples on Instagram. All materials will be provided, including wood ornament blanks, scissors, hole punchers, painted yupo paper, decoupage glue, and markers. Please note that the resin finish will not be demonstrated during the workshop, as it requires 48 to 72 hours for full curing. However, all pieces will be finished with two layers of resin in the studio and ready for pick up within a week. Shipping is also available for an additional $4. Participants are only required to bring themselves and a smile. If you anticipate getting a little messy, bring a T-shirt you don't mind getting paint on. Plus, all attendees can enjoy a 10% discount on all merchandise and original artwork in the studio. Please be aware that refunds are not available, but if you notify the studio 24 hours in advance, they will be happy to assist you with rescheduling for a future event. Children as young as 6 years old are welcome to participate, but the studio is unable to accommodate children who are not participating in the workshop.
