Theatergroep De Onderneming keert na twee eerdere voorstellingen terug in Museum Overschie met ‘Strijken & Snijden’, een vertelconcert over een chirurg, die cello speelt in een amateurorkest. De chirurg vertelt over een dramatische ervaring, die zowel met zijn vak als met zijn deelname als cellist in een amateurorkest te maken heeft. Zijn werk wordt zo verbonden met zijn hobby in een duet tussen verteller en cellospeler. Naast elkaar zittend, speelt het verhaal zich af in zes delen waarbij ze om en om aan 'het woord' zijn. Het trio Elhugo speelt als inleiding drie Liederen van Michael Glinka en eindigt na de vertelling met een Andante van Mendelssohn. Het vertelconcert duurt een klein uur. Het Elhugo trio bestaat uit Elien Gerritsma (piano), Godelieve van Zijl (viool) en Hubert Schenck (cello), die elkaar hebben leren kennen via de Vereniging van Amateur Kamermusici in Rotterdam (Vakir). Christos Sougk is Greek comedian performing in English in the Netherlands since 2019, with a fake surname and an enigmatic accent that many people refuse to believe is real. Where other comics strive for relatability, Christos has been leaving audiences in stitches and utter confusion, thanks to an absurd comedic style that pushes the boundaries of good taste and decency. His comedy will have you wondering if he is the butt of the joke, or, if in fact, that is you. En Passant werd tijdens IFFR 2025 in de Centrale Bibliotheek van Rotterdam gepresenteerd. En Passant De openbare ruimte is een podium voor vluchtige ontmoetingen en onverwachte verbindingen. In En Passant verkent Chris de Krijger hoe mensen elkaar kruisen in onze Centrale Bibliotheek in Rotterdam, een plek waar anonimiteit en saamhorigheid elkaar raken. Het schaakbord fungeert als decor, maar de ware essentie ligt bij de mensen die voorbijtrekken: kleurrijke personages die zich verliezen in het spel, de regels en elkaar. Hier draait het niet om winnen of verliezen, maar om het samen-zijn. Een onverwacht incident roept vragen op over ons empathisch vermogen en onze behoefte aan contact. Vanuit de verdiepingen van de bibliotheek observeert de camera het alledaagse en transformeert het tot een mozaïek van verhalen. Met lenzen die in- en uitzoomen, worden verbanden blootgelegd en wordt zichtbaar hoe individuen zich bewegen binnen een groter geheel. Terwijl je observeert, word je ook onderdeel van het geheel – een stille toeschouwer én een actieve speler in de ruimte. Na afloop is er een nagesprek en de mogelijkheid tot een potje schaken. Je ziet de leukste voorwerpen uit de geschiedenis van de douane, zoals een jurk die gebruikt werd om dingen te smokkelen. Vanaf 11 uur is de algemene ledenvergadering in een prachtige zaal. Na een lekkere lunch is er een rondleiding en kan je rondkijken in het Geldlab. We gaan deze ALV met jullie in gesprek over het jaarverslag. Ook vertellen we als bestuur wat we van plan zijn en we willen graag jouw mening horen, dus het is belangrijk dat je komt. Verder bespreken we de jaarrekening van het afgelopen jaar.
