An Evening of Radiohead at Glasgow Cathedral (Early Evening) | Glasgow Cathedral

Jul 19, 2025 (UTC+1)
Glasgow
Concerts
"For a minute there - I lost myself." Let Me In are back, returning on a UK Cathedral (and Minster..!) tour after a sell-out, acclaimed tour in 2024. Lose yourself in this sonically spectacular celebration of Radiohead's vast and ever-expanding universe of music - including hits and hidden gems from their 30 years in the spotlight from albums such as OK Computer, In Rainbows and The Bends. A full live band , with vocalists, accompanied by the nationally renowned Mike Nowland String Quartet , will transport you on an epic journey through the bestselling band's back catalogue within the stunning surroundings of Glasgow Cathedral, for a special show of live music you will never forget. The setlist will collate a detailed selection of hits and lesser known gems from all of Radiohead's nine albums to date, and will have something for everyone as we venture from 90s maudlin rockers to bombastic sonic landscapes in what is guaranteed to be a sensory experience like no other. Your band for the evening will be fronted by Christopher Buckle , and will include local musicians and Radiohead lovers - Alfie Woods, Bruce Higgs, Daniel Anketell, Josh Semans, Lydia Karaviotis and Musical Director - Ewan Steady . The band will be accompanied by very special guests and nationally renowned string players - Mike Nowland, Mathias Svensson, Caroline Boddimead and Hannah Paterson. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A STANDING EVENT. NOTE - We believe that the arts have both the potential and responsibility to support the strengthening of communities and in actively fighting against injustices that provide a select few in society opportunities that should be accessible to everyone. We are constantly pushing ourselves to find new ways to collaborate with individuals and communities across the Midlands in seeing how we can develop projects that aren’t just artistically enjoyable but that enable space for reflection on how to make our communities more open, safe and without prejudice. Because of this, we do not want to put any financial barriers between our work and our audiences - if you find this is the case, please email us on chris@letmeinpresents.co.uk and we can discuss alternative ticketing arrangements to enable you to come to the event if you wish to. FAQs When do doors open? Doors will open 60 minutes before the music begins, meaning they will open at 4pm. This will give you ample time to come into the space, find your seat and relax before the music begins at 5pm. What are the stage times? There is no support act, so the music will begin at 5pm sharp. There will be one set with no interval, with the event finishing around 6.30pm. What age is the performance suitable for? This performance is suitable for those who are 14+, however, there are some intense lighting and sound moments throughout the evening, and we would recommend parental discretion. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. What are the seating arrangements? This is a standing only event, with an exception only for those with access needs. Is there disabled access? It is incredibly important to us that our performances are accessible to everyone that wants to come - therefore, we have ensured that An Evening of Radiohead is wheelchair accessible. Please ensure you book an Accessible Ticket for disabled access, and this way we can make sure we have ample staff and space to make sure you are all as comfortable as possible. From here, our staff will ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. Companion tickets are free of charge, and will also be seated. Will there be refreshments on site? There will be an affordable selection of refreshments being sold on site, and you are encouraged to buy from the on site bar to help the Cathedral continue the community engagement work it does. Will there be parking on site? There are various car parks nearby to the Cathedral, including city centre parking. Will there be toilets on site? Yes, there are toilets on site. What if I need more information? Feel free to email Chris at chris@letmeinpresents.co.uk with any questions you may have. We are always happy to help and our door is always open! Fashion Design
Cultural Experiences
At Look Club, we'll be encountering artworks together by starting from scratch with no prior knowledge or historical context. There are no right or wrong answers, only opinions and perspectives. Enjoy this unique session to think deeply and share a space for listening. Come along and meet new people, increase your own sense of confidence and take time to be culturally curious! Join us in the Hunterian Art Gallery and experience art in a way you haven't before. No prior knowledge of art is necessary! Sessions take place at 12pm on the first Wednesday of each month. Look out for extra tour dates including Saturday 8 March for International Women's Day, where we'll be looking at works by women and works with women sitters. A specific approach to looking at art, known as Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), was co developed by Abigail Housen, Harvard Cognitive Psychologist, and Philip Yenawine, Director of Education at MOMA between the years of 1988-199. This method is initiated by facilitated discussions of art images and jumpstarts a process of learning to think deeply. It enhances and encourages thinking skills, provides oral and written language literacy, visual literacy, and collaborative interactions among peers. Founded in 2012 by Conductor Dr. Sean Boulware, Aria Women’s Choir is an auditioned ensemble of talented female vocalists from the Central Coast of California. Aria Women’s Choir brings joy and gives voice to women across the Central California coast.Celebrating the power and beauty of women's voices, Aria champions contemporary andclassic repertoire written for treble voices. Our mission is to uplift, empower, and connectwomen through meaningful musical expression, artistic excellence, and communityengagement. She Sings! is a celebration of women’s voices—resilient, radiant, and resolute. From thehaunting lullaby of “Seal Lullaby” to the stirring call for justice in “The Times They Are A-Changin’,” this program explores the emotional spectrum of womanhood through sacred, spiritual, and secular works. Each piece reflects a shared journey of hope, remembrance, transformation, and community.Composers like Elaine Hagenberg and Craig Courtney offer deep serenity, while the folk-inspired settings of “Loch Lomond” and “Wild Mountain Thyme” evoke heritage andtradition. Songs such as “Akekho Ofana No Jesu” and “Children Go Where I Send Thee”amplify the power of spirituals and African traditions that speak to universal truths.Together, we lift up stories and harmonies that transcend time—woven by and for womenwho sing, who lead, who remember, and who rise Dr. Seán Boulware is a renowned conductor, adjudicator, clinician, and vocalist active across the U.S. and Europe. He consults with choral organizations on chorus management, audience development, performance tours, and technology. Seán has prepared choirs for conductors like John Alexander, Seiji Ozawa, and John Rutter, and for performances with artists such as Josh Groban and Michael McDonald. He frequently conducts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and has led choirs in over a dozen countries, including Italy, England, Germany, and Japan. From 2005–2007, he was recognized by American Idol for conducting the most downloaded Classical Group. In 2012, he led the Monterey Peninsula Choral Society at the London Summer Olympics. As a vocalist, Seán has performed with top orchestras including the LA and NY Philharmonics, and toured nationally in Les Misérables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He also directs and performs in community theater. Seán currently conducts the Monterey Peninsula Voices and Aria Women’s Choir, and has studied under esteemed educators such as Dr. Joseph Flummerfelt and John Alexander.
