After several years as an embedded crisis worker with the Madison Police Department, she now oversees embedded crisis workers with multiple first responder agencies. Sarah is an experienced speaker, providing trainings for law enforcement, clinicians, other service providers, and community members on a variety of topics, including mental illness, suicide risk, and Chapter 51 civil commitments. Ginger Francis, MSW, APSW [she/hers]: Ginger is the is owner and psychotherapist with Shifting Current, LLC , a private mental health practice located in Madison. As an equity-focused social work professional, she embodies an active commitment to dismantling racism and other intersecting forms of oppression and their impacts on mental health and wellbeing within her spheres of influence. Working at a multitude of levels over her career has strengthened her ability to see individual experiences within the greater context of societal structures.
