Noteworthy, a powerhouse ensemble comprising seven phenomenal female vocalists, boasts a diverse repertoire spanning pop, rock, jazz, hip-hop, and spiritual genres. Noteworthy has graced the stage of NBC’s The Sing-Off, released 7 albums, and became a sensation with over 70 million views on YouTube. In 2007, Noteworthy became the second all-female group to be crowned champions of the prestigious International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA). Above all, Noteworthy strives to use their music to remind others of their divine worth and unique identity. Vocal Point, BYU’s renowned seven-man a cappella sensation, seamlessly blends harmony, humor, and astounding vocal percussion into an electrifying showcase. Their extensive vocal range encompasses rock, pop, country, jazz, hymns, and R&B, delivering crowd-pleasing performances. Valley of the Sun 2025| FEBRUARY 15th & 16th 2025! Join us for an exciting weekend of sharp swords! We offer sharp cutting competitions, classes for all skill levels, and vendors boasting some of the highest quality sharp swords on the market.
General admission is required for all participants wanting to particpate, compete, or take classes. General admission includes 2 tatami mats for use in classes or coached cutting sessions. Class participants must be 15yrs or older, minors under 18 require a legal guardian present at all times during participation. Spectator passes are strictly for people who only intend to observe tournaments and shop vendors. Spectators will not be given tatami, may not test swords, participate in classes, or compete in any tournaments.
Competitors must be 18+ for sharp cutting tournaments. You may bring your ownsharp sword to compete with (pending organizer approval) or use the loaners provided.
Skill tiers for tournaments are based on self-selection but final determination will be with event organizers based on total average skill of registered competitors. Schedule, instructors, vendors, and tournaments rules will be announced shortly.
