GRIMM presents The Holiday Park, a solo exhibition of new paintings and drawings by British artist Caroline Walker.The Holiday Park is a new body of work by Caroline Walker that takes the activity led, family-friendly holiday park as its setting. A setting that is artificial yet familiar, posed for the purpose of elevating the leisure of guests and minimising their perception of labour. This environment, reproduced in the painted details highlights its confection, from the artificial glow of the amusement arcade to the uniformly uniformed staff, the wave patterned swimming pool tiles and the managed landscape. Adopting a more autobiographical approach to image-making that has become synonymous with the artist’s practice in recent years, the series looks to highlight the relationship between work and leisure, drawing out the sociopolitical conditions that construct each mode.

This is her fourth solo exhibition with the gallery and features paintings she created during her recent MacDowell fellowship. A site specific drawing and painting installation that the artist refers to as an “intervention” is also on display.

SANATORIUM presents Zeyno Pekünlü’s first solo show in the USA, titled “Perfect Loop," at DIANA NEW YORK. The exhibition centers on the video Perfect Loop, alongside a sound installation and works on paper. Perfect Loop, which lends its title to the exhibition, is a video stuck in its beginning sequence, drawing from waiting interfaces with messages like "press any key to continue" and "loading..."—a form of non-content for media players. It underscores the emptiness of imposed narratives and the frustration of chasing an inaccessible video, mirroring our entrapment in an endless cycle of blue screens amid ongoing crises.

Timothy Taylor presents Bolero, an exhibition of new paintings by Cuban-born, Madrid-based painter Michel Pérez Pollo at the gallery’s New York location. Bolero features nine large-scale paintings of abstracted glyph-like forms in rich, earthen hues. This is Pérez Pollo’s first solo exhibition in New York and his second with the gallery.

CARVALHO PARK presents the first United States exhibition of French artist, Élise Peroi. Her debut New York solo, For Thirsting Flowers, features eight standing wooden structures, encasing her delicate tapestries.

Yannick Nézet-Séguin takes the podium to lead two exceptional casts in Mozart’s breathless and breathtaking comedy. Baritone Christian Gerhaher and bass-baritone Gerald Finley share the role of the philandering Count, opposite Golda Schultz and Federica Lombardi as the dignified Countess. The wily maid Susanna is sung by sopranos Lucy Crowe and Aida Garifullina, and bass-baritones Ryan McKinny and Christian Van Horn share the title role of the foolhardy valet.
