Op dinsdagavond 6 mei 2025 is Het Gezelschap welkom in dit schitterende oude schoolgebouw in de Koningsveldestraat 14 te Rotterdam. Meerdere kunstenaars hebben in dit gebouw een atelier en een aantal zal op die avond de deur van het atelier openen om ons te laten zien wat hij/zij maakt en daar iets over vertellen en/of uitleggen. We krijgen bijzondere schilderijen te zien, prachtige foto’s, unieke striptekeningen, schitterende weefgetouwen met textielkunstwerken, enz. Er is een grote diversiteit aan kunstuitingen, die we kunnen zien, beleven en waarover we vragen mogen stellen. Helaas bevinden de ateliers zich op de eerste en tweede verdieping van het gebouw. Die zijn te bereiken via behoorlijk hoge trappen; er is geen lift aanwezig. Omdat er veel te zien is, beginnen we een beetje vroeg en zullen een schema maken zodat iedereen aan bod komt.
