Join Sherry Telle in this exciting and informative coloured pencil workshop! This workshop is designed to help beginner to intermediate artists explore the possibilities of coloured pencils. The goal is to empower artists with techniques and knowledge to achieve vibrant, dynamic artwork. Participants will gain insights and hands-on experience in key techniques to improve their skills. Techniques covered include layering to build colours for depth and dynamism. Lifting by removing or lightening colours to create effects. Burnishing and smoothing layers for a polished look. Scoring by pressing into paper to create lines and textures before colouring, as well as blending and mixing colours seamlessly for harmony. Additionally, the workshop will cover how to select the right papers and understanding different pencil brands. Participants will also learn to create diverse textures for more lifelike artwork. This workshop encourages participants to enhance their own artistic style through learned techniques.
