Christina is committed to using compassionate, evidence-based training techniques, following the LIMA principles and Humane Hierarchy set forth by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.Christina was also invited to be a guest speaker at York University on the topic of “Exploration into the Human-Dog Bond and Its Influence on Mental Health.”Christina's Boston Terrier, Zombie, earned his ETD (Expert Trick Dog) title, becoming one of only eight Boston Terriers in all of Canada to achieve this honor at the time. Zombie also claimed first place in CARO Rally Obedience.Currently, Christina is working with her German Short Haired Pointer, Monster, to train her as a service dog. In addition to her training work, Christina has recently combined her love of film and trick training to create one-minute comedic narratives featuring her dogs performing tricks. His journey into dog training began when he welcomed Churchill, a loving Beagle, into his life in the summer of 2019. Churchill brought him love, joy, and companionship but most importantly taught realities of living with a dog who has separation anxiety, which motivated him to specailize in separation anxiety. He has experience working with many different breeds of dogs from puppyhood to adolescence to reactivity helping pawrents and families meet their goals and their dogs needs through the use of positive reinfrocement and fear free methods to ensure that both learners feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire learning process. 6) Daniella Zamora : Blue Springs Animal Rehab Centre She is a RTV, a KPA-CPT certified trainer, Elite Fear Free and Low Stress Handling Certified. Daniella has been working with dogs professionally for over a decade in the veterinary industry. She is currently a Registered Veterinary Technician through the Ontario Association for Veterinary Technicians and a Certified Dog Trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy. She is also working towards her Certified Companion Animal Therapist (CCAT) Program through the University of North Carolina. She is currently working as a Rehab Technician at Blue Springs Animal Rehab Center in Acton Ontario. While working in clinic, Daniella realized how important behavioural health is to the overall health of our pets and vis versa. She has worked with a variety of different animals from cats, dogs and small companion animals to larger farm animals and a variety of exotic animals while working in Bolivia and Guatemala. She is very passionate in teaching people how to read their dog’s body language and help their dogs overcome their fears, as well as identifying subtle pain signs and teaching owners how to help their pets recover and prevent injuries.
