Her artwork serves as a captivating exploration of her multi-layered identity, encompassing her experiences as a woman, a Chinese woman, an "American," and a third culture kid. Datchuk's exceptional talent has garnered recognition and her pieces now grace the permanent collections of prestigious institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the San Antonio Museum of Art, the Ogden Museum of Art in New Orleans, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Ceramics at Arizona State University, Datchuk is based in Phoenix, Arizona, where she maintains her own studio.
