The Empty Mountain Festival is a light festival in Tainan. Every year, the works on display are created on site by artists and residents of the Longqi community, turning the town of Longqi into a fantastic light scene. It has become a very representative cultural festival in Tainan. The Tainan Mountain Forest Light Festival "2025 Longqi Light Festival Empty Mountain Festival" will be held from December 28, 2024 to February 16, 2025. Light art will return to the Longqi forest and brightly light up Huxingshan Park. This year's Empty Mountain Festival is themed "Rebirth of Fire and Earth". Multiple sets of night light art installations will be exhibited in Longqi's unique mudstone badlands, just like after the dragon fire burns out, the embers turn into soil and give birth to new life.
